Phil Ivey

I was waiting for him to say CHOCOLATE RAIN!
This is the first time I have EVER seen Ivey ask the interviewer "How are you doing?"
He's actually lost his air of disdain.
Ivey lives a life that you could not even dream of (not in an insulting way). Loosing that money on gambling games that he knows he is going to lose on in the long run is showing you it means nothing to him. The biggest reason being he KNOWS that he will make it back at poker.
And, as far as "where his money should go". He has no kids, so it cant go there. And he regularly donates to charity so cant complain there either. HIS MONEY, HIS DECISIONS.

Phil Hellmuth

Can you just imagine if phil had the A10 suited.
AA to AK, AA to A7.... KK to KQ... are worse beats than overpairs to underpairs.
93%-7% in mathematical odds
53%-47% in party poker odds
I give u respect hellmuth for winning wsop 11 times, but when u talk about being the best and tlaking yourself up it gets old, u would hqave more respect from everyone if u just did your thing and didnt talk like u no everything.

Daniel Negreanu in a Great Read PDF Print E-mail

Daniel Negreanu

Obviously its not a read by daniel, hes just getting the right odds/outs to make that call...
I think the only reason Daniel called was that Ed raised preflop and got reraised ( then daniel calls on button) and Ed calls. This shows most likely a mid pocket pair as in 77 88 or 99. The other guy had the 99 but with being in middle position with qq10 on a flop is a bad spot to be in. Then the turn being a heart Ed moves allin. So daniel odds in the counterfit cards and he has 19 outs if guy has pocket 99/88/77 or he has 12 outs if guy has trips. even if the guy has ace of hearts he can win.
Negreanu is the best.
