You are wrong, you dont want to see a flop, with say AJ, miss flop, then have to fold...you want to take down the pot preflop, or get it all in preflop if on the short stack.
He said 15 times the BB is a SHORT stack, not a big stack. Everyone's definition of being short stacked is different, mine is around the same as Phil's. If the minimum buy in is 20x BB, this is why its the MINIMUM, you wouldn't be wise to buy in with the minimum, you will get blinded out and be forced to play as if you are short stacked fairly quickly into sitting at the table.

1997 Main Event. My old pal Mel was playing (for second place he admitted). Stuey looked terrible.. His body was a mess. But his eyes.. These "eagle eyes" capable of seeing through your soul.. Everybody was scared of him. Everybody. Watching him in action was mind-blowing particularily in cash games. Not one single poker player that sat on his table has ever been confident about defying that "monster". He was a monster, a freak, a genius. A legend. One of a Kind. The Greatest.
The FIRST time Stu Ungar played No Limit Hold 'em he won the $10k buy-in at Amarillo's Super Bowl of Poker. The SECOND time he played he won the Main Event at the World Series. Stuey knew how to play people, end of story. He was the greatest player ever to live. We can only imagine what would have been if he was still alive. I think he would have more cashes, more final tables, and more tournament wins than any of the poker greats there are today.

Patrik wrecked durrr at this matchup. what'd he beat him for like 600K almost? He is right tom is probably the toughest opponent there is, besides Phil Ivey. Patrik talks to Gloria few moments before $1 Million Cash Game against Tom 'durrrr' Dwan. Dwan is one of those players who seems to be able to not let anything get to him on the tables. He really is fearless, even though he had to consistently make giant laydowns in the heads up match with PA who ran like god, he just seems like 'whatever' and shrugs it off. Now compare that to Phil Hellmuth.
